Exchange & Return Policy

In accordance with Egyptian Consumer Protection Law No. 181 of 2018, Farid Sedrak Jewelry offers the following terms for returns and exchanges.

The 14-Day Window

Non-Defective Items: You have the right to exchange or return an item within 14 days of receipt, provided it is in its original, unworn, and unaltered condition, with all original packaging and certificates attached.

Defective Items:

If a manufacturing defect is discovered, the return window is extended to 30 days as per Egyptian law.

Original Receipt Requirement

Mandatory Documentation: No exchange, return, or future buy-back can be processed without the original sales invoice issued by Farid Sedrak Jewelry. This is a non-negotiable security measure for our family-founded house.

Exceptions (Non-Returnable Items)

• Per Article 17 of the Consumer Protection Law, the following items cannot be returned or exchanged unless a manufacturing defect is proven:
• Custom-Made Pieces:
• Any jewelry designed specifically for you or featuring custom engravings.

Resized Items:

• Pieces that have been altered to fit the customer’s specific measurements.
• Earrings: For health and hygiene reasons, earrings are non-returnable once the security seal is broken.

Refunds & Valuation

• Gold Value: For non-defective returns, the refund amount may be adjusted based on the daily gold rate in Egypt at the time of the return.
• Labor Costs: Labor fees (Masna’iya) and shipping costs are generally non-refundable unless the return is due to a confirmed manufacturing defect.
• Processing: Refunds will be issued via the original payment method or as store credit, depending on the customer’s preference and the nature of the transaction.
